Create a new Position, Employee or Org Unit
Pre-requisites
Ensure you have modelling enabled before following this guide. When in Modelling mode, the action icons will appear in the position boxes and your Toolbar will update.
Create a new position
When modelling, you can create a new position in your structure by clicking on the Create New Position icon located on each position.
The new position will be created, directly reporting to the position where you clicked the “Create New Position” icon. If you wish to change this, Drop and Drag Positions/Employees
A pop up will appear prompting you to fill out certain fields to create the new position. This screen is configurable to include:

Drop down lists using your data (i.e. drop down lists for Position Titles, Job Grades etc. This helps maintain data integrity.

Use of mandatory fields, what you fields you require users to populate when creating a new position.

Any attribute you wish.
Click SAVE.
Create a new employee
You can create an employee under any given position by clicking on the Create New Employee icon.
