WGEA Reporting Chart
The WGEA Reporting Chart gives People & Culture and Recruitment teams a visual view of gender composition, pay gap and workforce diversity data mapped across the org structure.
Overview
The WGEA Reporting Chart overlays gender, age, tenure and pay gap data onto your org chart, giving P&C and Recruitment teams a clear picture of workforce diversity at every level of the organisation. Each position card displays the gender pay gap percentage, gender bias direction and a visual breakdown of female, non-binary and male representation for the structure below.
This chart is designed to support WGEA compliance reporting and diversity planning. Gap ranges are aligned to WGEA recommendations, making it easy to identify positions and teams that fall outside target thresholds.

Objectives
- Give P&C and Recruitment teams a clear view of gender composition across the organisation
- Surface gender pay gap data and bias direction at a position and team level
- Support WGEA compliance reporting with gap thresholds aligned to WGEA recommendations
- Help identify areas of the organisation where diversity and pay equity action may be needed
Required fields
To get the most out of this chart, the following fields are generally recommended:
- Gender

Legend
Each position card is colour-coded to indicate the gender pay gap status for that team:
- Green — In Target Gender Gap (aligned to WGEA recommendations)
- Amber — Moderate Gender Gap

Each card also displays a directional arrow to indicate bias:
- ↑ Arrow — Gap is Male Bias

![]()
The progress bar within each card shows the breakdown of Female, Non-Binary and Male representation as a percentage of the team.
The gap thresholds are aligned to WGEA recommendations by default but can be customised to reflect your organisation's diversity targets.
Vacant positions
Vacant positions will appear in the chart structure. As gender data is employee-driven, vacancies will not contribute to gap or composition calculations.
